Mattress Sale Fundraiser
Held every March in the East Meck cafeteria. Come get a better night’s sleep AND support the East Mecklenburg High School Band Mattress Fundraiser! We will have great name brands like Simmons Beautyrest mattresses on display at the High School priced up to 50% below retail. $25 from each mattress sold is applied to the student account, as long as the buyer notes the student name to credit. This is ONE DAY only, so we need your help to SPREAD THE WORD by inviting all of your friends!

Corporate Matches
Does your company match your donated funds or donate to an organization of your choice based on your volunteer hours? Here are just a few companies that match donations: Adobe Inc., Bank of America, CBRE, Duke Energy, Fidelity, Humana, Microsoft, Newrez, SAP, United Health Group, TIAA, Vanguard, Wells Fargo. Check with your Human Resources department to see if your company will match your donation or provide a donation for your volunteer hours.
Fruit Sale
The fruit sale is traditionally our biggest and most successful fundraiser and takes place in December. $10 of each box sold goes towards the student’s band fees! Fruit is delivered to East Meck early in December for students to pick up and deliver to customers or fruit can be shipped wherever they would like for a shipping fee.
For a student to get credit for the sale, at check-out, customers select “Which seller would you like to credit for this order?” and select the student from a drop-down menu.
